Lupin

In 1958, on an island beyond the North Sea, a tournament of deduction is hosted by the last of a once-defunct criminal enterprise. Invited are an assortment of personalities that find there are few strangers amongst them, but all are promised a solitary reward for the eventual winner: "No wish will go ungranted". However, the specialized device each player now wears is used not only to participate in the game but compel them toward revelations none expect.

Known in both fame and infamy by many monikers, Augustine Lupin II exists between two planes of criminality. By day, he heads the Sernine Mutual Insurance Group as Inspector Auguste C. Leagarde, best known for his faultless record recovering stolen fine art. By night, he operates a network responsible for the theft of those very objects prior to their replication and eventual "recovery". His entanglements with all things criminal and criminal justice saw him weaving in and out of various social circles. The associations he developed ultimately led to him receiving an invitation to Espionage by someone with intimate knowldege of his past. Suspicious that the game was not as it seemed, Lupin enacted a contingency in secret—one that could save himself and others from ruin, or ensure it if uncovered. As the victor, he is promised the truth behind the secret of Josephine that has long plague his past, as well as the whereabouts of the treasure that once eluded the two of them.
